EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE
EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE, SOUTH PLAINS, AND ROLLING
PLAINS...
* Timing...Until 10 PM CDT.
* Wind...West at 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
* Humidity...As low as 8 percent.
* Fuels...Critically Dry.
* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.

* WHERE...The southern South Plains and southern Rolling Plains

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result. Some reduction in visibility due to
blowing dust can be expected, especially near open fields.
